Generous Helping vacations are structured around two guiding principles: First, there is no higher reward than making new friends while creating life-long memories; Second, experienced travelers prefer less structured daily activities so they can see and experience Europe like a ‘local.’

With Generous Helping, our guests are welcomed to sumptuous villas that richly reflect the history and romance of the local culture. Mornings begin with a bountiful breakfast featuring Tuscan charcuterie and cheese. After breakfast, your hosts will discuss destinations and activities which will appeal to a wide variety of interests such as history, art, exercise, and cuisine. Our villa was chosen for its central proximity to Florence (museums and culinary treasures) as well as nearby cities such as Siena, San Gimignano, Bologna, and Pisa. Some guests depart for a full day of exploration while others return mid-afternoon for a refreshing swim, delicious poolside snacks, and chilled beverages. Certain days and times are set aside for you to join your hosts for very special events such as a visit to the Leonardo da Vinci museum in Vinci, Italy, followed by a lunch in Artimino at Da Delfina, one of our favorite restaurants. Our small groups allow us to share intimate experiences in unique places not available to larger tour groups.
