Generous Helping vacations are structured around two guiding principles: First, experienced travelers prefer less structured daily activities so they can pursue specific interests at their preferred pace. And second, many of our finest memories are made while gathered around a dining table.

Our guests are welcomed to a lovely mid-19th-century Victorian Manor House that richly reflects the romance of the local Irish culture. The Manor is situated on 60 private, wooded, bay-side acres adjacent to the renowned Ring of Kerry.

Mornings begin with a buffet breakfast and conclude with a multi-course dinner. During the day, some guests will depart for a full day of exploration, while others return mid-afternoon for leisurely walks along the property's many forested trails or to explore the 15th-century castle ruin and walled garden, also on the property. Snacks and chilled beverages are always available, simply help yourself. Specific days and times are set aside for special events the hosts have planned to make your trip more memorable. We’ll be treating guests to the thrilling sport of Falconry, allowing everyone to participate with both falcons and owls while learning about these remarkable trained birds. Guests will also visit a sheep herding demonstration. Group size is limited to no more than 14 guests plus hosts (eight King ensuite bedrooms). We feel this size of a group is the perfect balance between variety and intimacy and allows us to experience unique opportunities unavailable to larger tour groups.

$3,900 per person based on double occupancy.

(The vacation cost includes six nights in luxury accommodations, breakfast and dinners served daily and prepared by local chefs or your hosts, bountiful snacks, all beverages (alcoholic and non), and all special activities or events planned for your enjoyment by your hosts. Guests are responsible for airfare, a rental car, optional trip insurance, and lunches out.)
